Post Ops Coordinator ( Medical Pathway Administrator ) As a Post-Operative Scheme Co-ordinator, you will be managing the care for patients subscribed on any post-operative scheme. You will have a clear and comprehensive understanding of the different post-operative pathways for different CCG areas and be the key contact or any associated queries. You will be responsible for extracting relevant clinical information from patient records and updating clinical systems. You will record consistent, accurate data to facilitate managers and clinicians in the monitoring, planning and provision of high-quality patient care. Eye test and subsidy towards glasses Role and Responsibilities of our Medical Pathway Administrator: To co-ordinate the medical pathway for post-operative scheme patients, ensuring that care is provided within allocated timeframes, to accurately record all external appointments attended as part of the SpaMedica Post-Operative Scheme. Handling emergency appointment information to ensure, out of process, not planned appointments are captured and recorded in the system in a reportable format. To monitor and rectify any delays to incoming post-operative reports opticians. Working closely with the Service Promotions Executive to ensure all post-operative appointments and documentation is up to date and recorded. To extract all clinical information from the patient health record To input all outpatient appointments onto the Patient Administration System within agreed timescales. To communicate effectively with clinicians and administration colleagues as required. Skills and Experience: Ability to manage own workload. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail Ability to learn new ICT systems.
