Programme Manager – Salary Circa £80,000. The role is great for someone who loves crafting business value through efficient and effective planning and delivery of change within a programme or across an IT function. The person will have good knowledge of the UK General Insurance Market, be confident creating and delivering executable plans from high level strategies and be comfortable taking ownership of a programme of work. They will be an expert in all aspects Programme Management, who continually improves themselves and their teams. They will want to be part of and take a leadership role in driving a OneAviva Culture within the GI COO team and strive for excellence in everything they do. A bit about the job: You will be responsible for managing a team focused on project management, whilst overseeing the planning and execution of team's allocated projects, monitoring project performance, and ensuring adherence to project plans and budgets and compliance with internal policies, regulations, best practices, and organization's overall objectives. Collaboration with various stakeholders is key to help define project objectives and deliverables, negotiate commercial terms with clients, identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Effective senior stakeholder management is key. You will also be accountable for the delivery of your team, evaluate and monitor team performance, handle, and monitor the team budget, provide guidance, coaching and support, share expertise and knowledge to help team members develop their skills and abilities and to ensure their professional growth and development. You should also have good understanding of technology trends, and external market trajectories. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Demonstrable Programme Leadership, with delivery agility and extensive previous experience managing large complex programmes of work. Proven experience managing multiple interrelated change budgets, with a mixed supplier / Aviva resource model and associated supplier management capability. Self-starter who can work with a complex senior stakeholder group (Director level) to deliver timely, accurate reporting at the appropriate level, and is experienced at effective stakeholder management. Led the delivery of IT Strategies with a pioneering mindset. APM – PMQ / PPQ, PMI – PMP, Prince II Practitioner – these would advantageous What you’ll get for this role: Salary circa £80,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
