Job overview
We are looking for someone who is passionate about vascular services and delivering improved outcomes for our patients. You must be able to organise and prioritise your own workload to meet the requirements of the team and communicate effectively as part of a team. The successful candidate will have experience in identifying and rectifying data quality issues and introducing procedures to rectify problem areas, experience of handling highly sensitive information, and knowledge of the NHS long-term plan.
This role will also require the recording of non-clinical data capture for local and national audits. The role requires a high level of data accuracy to meet deadlines and ensure high standards of service are maintained. You will need strong typing skills and an ability to type under pressure in a live meeting.
Main duties of the job
The Multi-Disciplinary Team Co-ordinator, although not a patient-facing role, plays a major part in the overall patient experience and journey. You should have excellent communication skills, be effective in working closely with clinical and non-clinical staff, and have a flexible and patient-centered approach.
You should also have previous admin experience, ideally with experience of working with databases and understanding data collection processes. You will be responsible for monitoring, reporting, and tracking all patients within the Vascular Service area, ensuring the patient's journey is processed and administered in a timely and efficient manner in line with clinical guidance.
You will also work as part of the wider MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) to ensure the patient's experience is central to every stage of the journey.
