The post holder:
1. Reports to the Fire Safety Manager
2. Has line management responsibility
3. Is responsible for managing the FRA process and ensuring actions are issued, managed, and completed.
4. Is responsible for chairing FRA Task Group meetings.
5. Ensures the successful delivery of fire safety, FRA actions, and supports senior management and management teams in doing the same.
6. Prepares and presents KPI reports on the fire safety programme.
7. Is comfortable using a range of software, databases, and is a strong user of all Microsoft tools.
8. Works in partnership with the Building Safety Team to develop an appropriate fire safety procedure to comply with legislation and the Council's policies and procedures.
9. Collaborates with all teams to deliver positive outcomes and maintain resident safety, developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including fire enforcement bodies, contractors, and partners.
10. Helps develop policies and procedures to support the work of the team and department.
11. Carries out other duties within the competence of the post holder which may be reasonably required from time to time.
