Celyn Vet Group are looking for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join us on a 12 month fixed term, maternity cover contract (potential for this to be extended).

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that has a keen interest in operating and is comfortable carrying out all routine operations and any surgical emergencies you would expect to see in a first opinion practice. The role is a mix of consulting and operating/procedures.
The Role
You will be mainly based at our Holywell site, but will also work some shifts at our other branch site in Prestatyn. We are looking for someone full time, 3 and a 1/2 days a week ideally. This also includes 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am-midday). For the right candidate, we would be happy to discuss the potential of part-time hours (minimum 30 hours). Saturday working would still be required.
Our Practice
We are a team of 13, consisting of a Clinical Director, Practice Manager, 2 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 Head RVN, 1 Animal Care Assistant, 1 Head Receptionist and 3 Receptionists.

We are spoilt with natural beauty from beaches to blissful country walks! We have great transport links to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester for those who enjoy the bigger cities.
