4. Collaborate with legal teams, contractors, and housing officers to resolve disrepair cases efficiently and effectively.
5. Manage repair projects from inception to completion, ensuring works are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
6. Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and actions taken to ensure compliance with legal and council requirements.
About You:
1. Qualified Professional: Degree in building surveying or a related field and membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB).
2. Expert Knowledge: Strong understanding of building construction, legal disrepair legislation, and housing standards.
3. Problem-Solver: Ability to identify issues, provide effective solutions, and deliver results in challenging situations.
4. Effective Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging with legal teams, contractors, and residents.
