Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Lead 12-month fixed term contract PR/023435 An exciting opportunity for an experienced Office/Workplace Manager looking to join a high performing global investment firm.Based in newly refurbished offices near Soho, this role is responsible for the operational management of an incredible, high spec work space.The office has been designed to provide an exceptional place of work, focussed on employee wellbeing and employee experience. There are more than 200 employees based in London, and the office also hosts numerous senior leadership meetings and client events. The firm has a highly respectful and friendly culture, and as the “face” of the London Workplace team, the cultural/values alignment will be as pivotal to success as technical ability. THE ROLE: A broad and varied role, with responsibility for the operational management of the London workspace. Duties include: Cost and budget management, working with a wide range of suppliers including travel/event management and building/property suppliers Management and negotiation of leases and contracts Direct line management of reception team and indirect management of external on-site services providers, including barista, caterers and cleaners Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business in every department to understand business needs, and proactively manage the workspace accordingly Working closely with support professional population - including chairing monthly EA meetings Building and maintaining relationships stakeholders across the business Regularly walking the floors to build relationships/identify and resolve any potential issues before they arise The successful candidate must have prior office management experience gained within a comparable size organisation, within a fast-paced environment where quality is key. Line management experience, ideally of front of house and customer facing teams also essential.Alongside technical ability, a personable, approachable style, balanced with the confidence and experience to work autonomously is key.
