We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work both on an individual basis and as a member of a team. You will adopt a person-centred approach to deliver a high standard of flexible and responsive care to our 6 service users within the care home providing support and assistance using the re-ablement approach that includes support to service users to maximise and maintain their independence.
This post is responsible for leading the shift, administration of medication and to support and guide other care staff to meet the needs of the residents. You will undertake a key working role within the service so should have knowledge and experience of Support Planning and the reviewing process and Risk Assessing in relation to older people.
Previous experience in a social care setting is essential and ideally you will hold an SVQ 3 in social care or as a minimum hold SVQ 2 with a willingness to achieve an SVQ 3 in Social Care and register with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for Adults.
This is a 18.75 hours per week permanent contract, which is predominately a mixture of early shifts - and late shifts -, this contract includes a mix of weekday and weekend working.
This is a permanent part-time post of 18.75 hours working predominately a mixture of early shifts - and late shifts - including a mixture of both weekday and weekend working in line with service requirements. Enhancements for unsociable hours and weekend shifts are available.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
