Talbot Heath School is seeking a passionate and energetic Swimming Coach to support our expanding swimming programme. This role is ideal for an aspiring coach eager to develop their skills in a supportive and ambitious environment, working alongside an international coach and gaining high-level experience.
With a strong sporting tradition, Talbot Heath encourages swimmers to push boundaries and support one another. We are committed to developing athletes who excel both in the pool and in life.
The ideal candidate will hold Swim England Level 2 Coach Qualification (or equivalent), have experience coaching young swimmers, and bring enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a passion for sports education.
Initially part-time, the role is expected to grow into a full-time position, with potential on-site accommodation available for relocation support.

● Strong Communicator and Team Player – Able to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents while fostering a supportive training environment.
● Knowledgeable and Safety-Conscious – Holds an ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification (or equivalent) and ensures all sessions follow safeguarding and safety standards.
● Committed and Flexible – Willing to adapt to a growing programme, with the potential for a full-time role and possible relocation support.

Position: All year round, permanent 24 hours per week
Coaching hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7.00 - 9.00 am and 4.00 - 6.00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 7.00 - 9.00 am. Weekly Squad and Coaches Meeting: Monday 1.00 - 3.30 pm. Admin/Competition Attendance at Weekends/Staff Training/Planning accrued on a weekly basis: 6.5 hours
Salary: £24,000 (£19.23 per hour)
