We are looking for a Self Pay Associate to join our Revenue Assurance team based in Prestatyn. Reporting to Self Pay Team Leader, the candidate will assist the group wide management of recording, resolution and payment of accounts that remain unpaid following treatment by the payor or accounts in a credit status. The role will involve frequent interaction with facility staff and Senior Management, Clinical Teams, and internal and external teams to assist in the resolution of the accounts.
What you’ll do:
1. Contacts & resolves underpaid claims relating to bulk issues identified with specific self-funding patients.
2. Performs appropriate follow up with Payer and gains commitment for payment.
3. Identifies and communicates contract related issues to Contracts leadership as appropriate.
4. Collaboratively works with 3rd party debt collection agency for self pay invoices.
5. Reviews self pay invoices that are on hold status due to queries/complaints.
