Job Description
Provide core technical support within the Design and Technology department and work flexibly throughout the school within all technician disciplines.
Responsible for whole school technical support within Design and Technology, Science, and Digital Technology with due regard for Health and Safety.
Ensure the most efficient range of support services are provided in an organized manner. Please note this post is predominantly required to support practical work within the school Design and Technology department, e.g., Woodworking, Metalwork, and Design and Manufacture. Appropriate qualifications and experience would therefore include mechanical engineering, joinery/woodworking, metalworking, mechanical maintenance, etc.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential upon taking up the appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
