What you’ll be doing
As Global Account Executive, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from picking up leads (inbound and from the business development team) to closing the final deal.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
* Working with international companies to position and close deals for our client’s range of information management software. You will be the key contact for these companies
* Working closely with the pre-sales team to gather an understanding of customers’ pain points, proposing solutions to fit each clients’ needs
* Developing and closing your own sales pipeline of opportunities through collaborative sales strategies with the extended sales team
* Act as an advocate and advisor to key accounts, relaying product needs and intelligence back to the necessary internal teams
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in Aberdeen, but this role is open to anyone based in the UK.
You’ll have demonstrated success within enterprise software sales, and ideally have sold to heavy industrial customers, such as oil & gas and manufacturing.
A few other key skills we are looking for:
* Demonstrated knowledge of customer-centric selling techniques and principles
* Effective negotiation skills, being able to represent the long-term business requirements for the company
* Experience of communicating and negotiating with international partners
* An open and considerate communicator that is seen as a true thought leader in the industry
* Ability to power through tough challenges – taking multiple approaches when a solution isn’t clear
