As Head of Business Data and Improvement, you will lead a range of business-critical projects and initiatives, including the establishment of a Project Management Office (PMO), the design and rollout of business intelligence capabilities, and the delivery of a major ERP replacement programme. You'll work closely with senior leadership and teams across the business to shape and implement strategies that improve performance, enhance data-driven decision-making, and enable agile responses to emerging challenges. About The Role As the Head of Business Data and Improvement, you will be responsible for: Act as the driving force behind our Business Improvement strategy, embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. Serve as a member of the Operational Leadership Board, contributing to strategic discussions and business decisions. Lead the development of real-time data dashboards and decision models that support business teams with actionable insights. Define and manage a business-wide data architecture and uphold data quality standards through effective governance. Build and lead a PMO that standardises project delivery across Wilson James, improving visibility, consistency, and value from all initiatives. Deliver key improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, smooth implementation, and long-term sustainability. Lead the ERP replacement programme, guiding the project through planning, execution, and successful adoption. Create and manage a pipeline of improvement initiatives, overseeing governance through the Wilson James Project Panel. Coach, support, and inspire cross-functional project teams to deliver impactful outcomes. Why Join Us? Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels. An excellent track record in project, change, and risk management, with experience delivering complex programmes. Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems and successful ERP implementation. Analytical, strategic, and solutions-focused, with a passion for continuous improvement. Proven ability to build high-performing teams and foster a collaborative, forward-thinking culture. Desirable Degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related field (MBA or Master's degree a plus) Relevant professional certifications (e.g. PMI, APM, ScrumMaster, Six Sigma) Experience managing ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics Strong understanding of business processes, data architecture, and governance frameworks Interested?
