We are looking for a Paraplanner to join our team at Johnston Carmichael Wealth. We are flexible in terms of location throughout Scotland but ideally, you would be located close to one of our Wealth office hubs – Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen or Inverness. The Paraplanner will be responsible for (but not limited to): Produce compliant and detailed suitability reports for Level 3 solutions Prepare complex cashflow models for existing and new cases Carry out market comparisons and research in line with level 3 solutions Maintain full and compliant records in support of recommendations prepared Provide training and support for the technical team, including technical knowledge queries Assist with the development of the Firm's proposition through due diligence, process design and development Assist with peer reviews of suitability reports About You: Holds Diploma in Financial Services and working towards / interested in gaining their Advanced Diploma Relevant experience within a financial planning firm as a paraplanner, with experience of: Cashflow modelling, Esoteric Investments, such as EIS, VCT and Business Relief qualifying investments Experience in training and supporting team members Have strong attention to detail and accuracy Have a working knowledge of the advice market in relation to Platforms and Products as well as other investment types. Have good IT Skills including working knowledge of MS Office Ability to prioritise and have good communication skills Why JC?
