The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
Summary of position:

Main responsibilities:
* Building, testing, and inspection of both routine and complex mechanical hydraulic systems
* Fit and assemble sub-assembly parts and components
* Identifying and repairing mechanical issues
* The ability to use a variety of measuring equipment e.g. Micrometers
* Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and H.S.E Standards
* Working to engineering drawings, C.M.M.s and Operation Instructions
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Previous experience as an Assembly Fitter in the Aviation Industry
* Strong understanding of mechanical hydraulic systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
