Position: Swimming Teacher

PoolSchools is a growing highly respected and friendly Swimming School. We operate swimming lessons for all ages and offer technically expert, fun lessons to small groups with an emphasis on fun and learning. We currently require passionate and highly motivated swimming teachers with ASA Level 2 who place great importance on customer care and swimming standards..
The duties of the Swimming Teacher will include:
· Educate and instruct individuals on swimming techniques and water safety.
· Plan and conduct swim lessons for various age groups and skill levels.
· Provide guidance and support to swimmers to help them improve their swimming abilities.
· Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
· Evaluate swimmers' progress and provide feedback for improvement –
· Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents that occur during lessons. (with the use of CoursePro where we record everything on a tablet that you will be given)
· Communicate effectively within the team.
· Standardisation across our 9 sites is really important so we do train our staff so that we can be the best we can possibly be!
Requirements:
We are looking for an individual who has the ability to work as an individual and as also part of our great team. We do believe in getting in the water with our lower ability swimmers – so this job will require getting wet!
Qualifications:
Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification
NRASTC or NPLQ or ability to gain
DBS- Ability to pass a background check.
Safeguarding and Child Protection knowledge.
Job Specifics:
This salaried / permanent job is based on 18hours / 5 shifts per week which run after school/ evening and weekends.
Ability to Commute: the shifts will run at a variation of our sites: Reigate / Slinfold /Epsom/ Oxted. This allows us to have our Senior staff (permanent) across venues and know the whole business.
