POSITION SCOPE:
Ensure that the switchboard is covered at all times and that shifts run smoothly. All calls are to be answered in a timely fashion. Providing excellent customer service at all times. Taking full responsibility for completing all daily tasks and assisting reception when necessary and when business allows.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Prepare documentation for daily business
* Ensure prompt, efficient and courteous answering of all calls, internal and external and transfer to the appropriate extension
* Always ensure the privacy of our guests and handle any request with the utmost discretion
* Ensure all guest requests are dealt with in a professional manner and timely fashion
* Ensure the switchboard is covered at all times
* Handle all wake-up calls and ensure they are delivered at the appointed time
* Be aware of all Forbes Standards and adhere to them at all times
* Full awareness of the current daily status of Hotel
* Ensure smooth handover to the next shift
Position Requirements
* Must be eligible to work within the UK.
* Must be able to communicate comfortably in both, written and spoken English.
* The ideal candidate will be organized; detail-oriented and enjoy dealing with people. An excellent telephone manner is also a requirement.
* Knowledge of Opera is an asset along with previous experience in a similar role and environment.
* This position is great for someone who enjoys multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
