Main duties of the job
* To be a team member contributing to the delivery of therapy services across the Medicine speciality, alongside the senior leadership team.
* To provide specialist advice to therapy staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
* To use client-centred approaches to patient care.
* To participate in and provide clinical and management supervision.
* To contribute to multi-disciplinary team working.
* To lead on service improvement and quality initiatives.
* To use the Trust electronic patient record system.
* To abide by all Trust policies and procedures.
* To respond flexibly and creatively to challenges.

Person specification
Experience and Knowledge
* Experience in a relevant junior role, including management of various conditions.
* Developed/Specialist clinical skills within relevant area.
* Delivery of relevant audit and service improvement.
* Experience in a client-driven/NHS environment.
* Experience of training/supporting/supervising others.
Qualifications and Training
* Degree in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
* Evidence of specialist post-graduate CPD activities
* Evidence of post-graduate training within specialist area
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
* Organised, prioritising workload and delivering results.
* Commitment to development and improvement.
* Ability to use initiative and resolve problems.
