About Yearbook Machine We're a small team of creative technologists who have built an online system for schools, universities and other groups to collaboratively create printed memory books. Used by many of the UK's top schools, our platform now serves organisations in over 30 countries worldwide. Everything is designed and built in-house, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality product at every step. Our offices are in Islington, just north of Shoreditch Park, in London. About the role We’re just entering our busiest period of the year, and during the next few months we will create yearbooks for hundreds of schools and other groups around the world. We are looking to hire a temporary Product Support & Operations Assistant to help look after our customers and deal with the increased volume of enquiries during this time. You will be responding to support and sales enquiries over the phone, on live chat, and via email, so excellent communication skills are a must, as is the emotional intelligence and empathy needed to keep customers happy. You’ll be assisting users of our online software, so a good amount of computer literacy is required, as is the ability to pick up new things quickly. You’ll also be responsible for helping our customers keep to their deadlines, so you’ll need great organisational skills and to be good at managing your own time and workload. This role can be really rewarding. You’ll work with customers all the way through the production process, and get to see how pleased they are with the finished product.
