Proper Change Management is a critical success factor in growth at McDonald's. We are evolving how we support Change at McDonald's through a McDonald's Change Center of Excellence (COE). The Change COE partners with leaders to enable the human side of transformation, ensuring people adopt the changes needed to promote the long-term success of our business. As a member of the Change COE, you will be a part of a team building something new. McDonald's Change COE seeks a supervisor of change management to support specific change workstreams and activities by executing our change framework and methodology. Under direct supervision of a more senior Change Management role, the Change Management Supervisor manages work with low to medium complexity or has scope for smaller change management deliverables on highly complex programs.
The immediate need is for support on a transformational technology program within our Global Technology function. Future assignments may span other McDonald's functional areas.
As part of their development, Change Supervisors will have opportunities to support COE operations as needed.
This role will report to Sr. Manager - Change Management within the Global People function.
What will you do?
Drive Adoption with One McDonald's Way of Doing Change
1. Assist in developing and managing comprehensive change strategies by applying a structured Change Management methodology to various programs.
2. Conduct change impact analysis across people, process, and technology dimensions, change readiness, and risk assessments to improve people ROI and successfully lead people through transitions
3. Assist in developing stakeholder management plans to identify key players and resistors of a change initiative and plans to aid their transitions.
4. Assist in developing communication plans to support broader change management goals on key initiatives.
5. Create communication artefacts and help with message development and creative delivery across various stakeholder groups.
6. Learn the business of the sponsoring function, seeking to understand the strategy enabling the transformation.
7. Analyse data-driven insights to measure, adapt, and accelerate change.
Support the growth of Change knowledge across the Enterprise
8. Gain an understanding of our Change Framework and support training of partners, practitioners, and business leaders.
9. Support COE staff meetings and learning series (topic identification, content development, etc.).
10. Maintain templates and examples for successful change delivery.
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
11. Change Management experience, particularly on large initiatives, specifically:Supporting technology focused changeExecuting on change deliverablesDeveloping Training strategiesCreating & deploying communication plansSimplification of messages & story telling.
12. Experience working within a large, complex, matrix organisation
13. Comfort with Word, PowerPoint, and collaborative technologies.

14. Ability to work effectively in a very fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
15. Demonstrable experience working autonomously.
16. Strong business acumen - ability to understand our business, our strategy, our purpose, our culture and be able to have meaningful conversations and influence our Leaders in those areas.
17. Strong problem-solving skills to navigate difficult or unexpected challenges along with ability to make decisions independently
Education:
18. Bachelor's degree in organizational change management, business management, human resources, or related field (desirable)
19. Prosci qualification (desirable)
