About the Role:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Telford. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, you will provide tailored support to pupils with various learning and developmental needs. Your role will be crucial in helping these students achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group support to children with SEN
Assist in the planning and delivery of personalized learning programs
Support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and engagement
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to track progress
Assist with classroom management and preparation of learning resources
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting
A compassionate and patient approach to working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An understanding of strategies and techniques for supporting children with SEN
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN qualifications) are desirable
