Conveyancing Assistant
Location: Farnborough
Salary: £30,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm
My client, a leading law firm based in Farnborough, is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their team. To apply for this role, you will need experience working within the conveyancing industry in an administrative role. You will need excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
Responsibilities include:
1. Reviewing local searches against previous records
2. Managing Help to Buy loan redemptions and coordinating with lenders
3. Communicating with clients, sales offices, and developer solicitors, escalating complex inquiries to Fee Earners
4. Verifying mortgage offers, liaising with clients and lenders to address queries
5. Following up with clients for deposits and paperwork, preparing files for exchange
6. Handling post-completion matters, including registrations
7. Conducting search applications and closing abortive files
8. Occasionally generating quotes and initiating files during peak periods
9. Drafting and dispatching documents to buyers' solicitors for sales
We're looking for individuals who can work independently while contributing effectively to our team. High standards and strong IT skills are a must.
