Job Description
The Role
The Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in reviewing, designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and future-ready IT architecture. Reporting directly to Head of IT Operations this position will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic vision while driving innovation and transformation. Your expertise will directly support the business-wide transformation efforts, enhancing systems resilience and efficiencies whilst reducing complexity and enabling growth.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead the review and implementation of the company’s greenfield enterprise architecture, ensuring resilience, scalability and flexibility to support current and future business needs.
Develop comprehensive architecture blueprints and roadmaps that align IT and business strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, including IT, product, operations, and finance, to understand and address business needs.
Ensure the integration of systems across multiple platforms and technologies, supporting agriculture, forest products, metals and mining, and energy transition verticals.
Partner with the CIO and senior leadership to provide architecture direction in alignment with transformation goals and private equity exit strategy.
Manage and guide technology investments in areas such as cloud infrastructure, data management, cybersecurity, and application development.
Ensure adherence to industry best practices, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate architectural risks while driving efficiency and reducing costs.
Support M&A activities by ensuring the integration and consolidation of IT systems during and after acquisitions.
Lead the selection and management of third-party vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of solutions.
Continuously evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies to future-proof the architecture.
Ensure architectural practices and designs comply with agreed certifications and industry standards.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.
Significant experience as a Senior Enterprise Architect Technical Manager in a Global, fast-growing organisation.
Be able to balance task orientation with people orientation i.e., focus on delivery of the plan, but not to the exclusion of all else, be able to influence both staff and team members
Be commercially astute; have experience of commercial negotiations with partners / suppliers
Proven experience (8+ years) as an Enterprise Architect or similar role, ideally within a price reporting agency (PRA), financial services, or information services sector.
Demonstrated success in leading architecture projects in a post-carve out or business transformation context.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
Experience with data management and governance in highly regulated environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, influence, and challenge senior leadership and external partners.
Knowledge of the agriculture, forest products, metals and mining, or energy transition markets is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
