What is the opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to join the Programme team in a multi-year mission to rebuild the Group IRB model suite. The Programme requires a variety of skill sets from quantitative analysts to project managers.
In this role you will:
1. Contribute to specific model development/remediation projects
2. Follow rigorous analytical solution and documentation processes and quality standards
3. Ensure output compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
4. Support engagement with key stakeholders (e.g., Business Model Owners, Model Validation teams, Model Risk teams)
What will make you stand out?
We are looking for someone with Credit Risk/IRB Modelling expertise and strong communication and collaboration skills.
Essential Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field.

The Group IRB Programme is tasked with re-developing and securing regulatory approval for the Group IRB model suite to meet revised ECB and EBA requirements. We are part of the Credit Risk family within the Bank of Ireland Group Risk Division and focus on building automated decision-making models to enhance customer experience and process efficiency.
This is a hybrid role that can be done anywhere in the UK or ROI, with the primary office location being Bristol or Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration.
