Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for Health & Social Care and Food Technology?
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teacher of Health & Social Care and Food Technology to join our team. This exciting opportunity is available to both experienced teachers and those aspiring to become Heads of Department (HoD), with excellent subject knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality education.
The role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, including practical lessons and coursework, as well as undertaking marking, planning, and other duties associated with the role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach Health & Social Care and Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering engaging lessons both theoretical and practical.
2. Plan and mark coursework to ensure students meet required learning outcomes.
3. Provide feedback to students on their progress, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
4. Undertake additional duties as required by the role, in collaboration with the HoD and the wider school team.
5. Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and support the development of the curriculum.
Requirements:
1. Strong experience teaching Health & Social Care and Food Technology at KS3 and KS4.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
3. Highly experienced candidates, including those who may be suitable for Head of Department, will be considered.
4. Excellent organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.
5. A passion for education and the ability to inspire students in practical and academic subjects.
6. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
