My client is an independent healthcare provider specialising in the provision of wide-ranging services to patients across the UK.
They have an opportunity for an experienced Interim Hard Facilities Manager to manage a small team of engineers and also help hold their current facilities to account. The team are developing at present so positive inclusive leadership is required. My client is looking for someone who works to a very high standard and expects the same of others.
The successful candidate must have significant experience in managing hard facilities teams and delivering change therein. It is essential that the interim manager has worked in the acute care / hospital space, either in the independent healthcare space or the NHS. In terms of professional and educational training, IHEEM would be good but is not essential. An NVQ 3 or HNC in engineering (electronic/mechanical/buildings) would be of benefit, although real-world experience and track record is the most important thing. You will be personable but able to get your point across professionally, whilst also being clear on what is acceptable and what is not. You will also need to be an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail.
The assignment rate is £450pd to £475pd inside IR35. The role is hybrid, although some travel to sites in the South will be needed. The assignment will run for a minimum of 3 months initially and requires an immediate start. If you have the requisite skills, please contact Andrew Vaux - andrew.vaux@practicus.com.
