An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support for a 23-year-old autistic woman within her own home and within the local community.
As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include helping her develop life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances, and promoting her independence by supporting her in accessing the local community. She has high levels of anxiety and will require someone friendly, caring and patient who has a passion for helping others.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, but a positive attitude and good work ethic are essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a clean license and access to your own vehicle is required.
This is a part-time position (Wednesdays and Saturdays) for 12 hours a week, with an hourly rate of £11.44 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
