Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer - Manchester with frequent international travel

The Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer will commission and service Azenta's advanced automated sample management systems. These products feature leading density and air-based refrigeration that prioritizes environmental compliance, reduces energy usage, and enhances efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
You will commission and maintain ULT (-80°C) and -20°C refrigeration systems to ensure excellent service levels and client satisfaction.
Take on projects as required and see them through to successful completion.
Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and suppliers to promote our services externally.
Investigate client specifications and settings to deliver tailored solutions.
Operational Roles
Carry out functions across both projects and service divisions, ensuring seamless operations.
Compliance and Safety
* Maintain adherence to company policies, legislative requirements, and industry best practices.
* Report non-conformances to relevant managers and ensure corrective actions are taken.
* Conduct site-specific risk assessments to ensure safety procedures are in place before works commence.
* Log near misses and accidents, reporting to the QSHE Co-ordinator.
* Evaluate and replace PPE as necessary, supplied by the Branch.
* Calibrate equipment regularly, ensuring certification and keeping records up-to-date.
* Maintain standard risk assessments and task procedures in a centralized file.
Your Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in commissioning roles.
* In-depth understanding of the end-to-end commissioning process and associated activities.
* Effective communication and influencing skills, particularly at senior levels.
* Able to work independently with attention to detail, achieving zero errors or defects.
* Flexible and proactive approach with ability to work under own initiative, demonstrating high energy and creativity.
* Hold valid C&G 2079 'F-Gas' Category 1 Qualification.
* C&G/NVQ or equivalent in Refrigeration Systems.
* CO2 and Hydrocarbon trained/qualified.
* CSCS Card (training provided if necessary).
* Full clean UK driving license.
