The successful candidate must: • Have a British Psychological Society accredited under-graduate honours degree (or equivalent) in Psychology • Have a post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent), • Be a member of the Health and Care Professions Council, thereby maintaining appropriate CPD and standards of practice. • Have relevant post-qualification experience which can be built upon through additional specific training, or experience in the field of perinatal and infant mental health. • Have additional exposure to, training or qualification in infant mental health or a desire to pursue this. The Perinatal and Infant mental health team are a small dynamic team which comprises of Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical psychology lead, Specialist pharmacist, Specialist mental health Midwife, Parent / infant therapist, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and specialist nurse. We are looking for someone who will enable us to develop the service offered to Infants (and their families / carers) in the perinatal stage. The post holder will work with the team to develop treatment protocols and processes. We have excellent links with the wider primary care teams as well as the Neonatal until and Livingstone Mother and Baby Unit.
