Care and Support Role

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Alderbrook Care Home in Leeds, where you will work closely with our experienced care team to deliver exceptional care and support to residents with complex physical and mental health needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with daily routines and promote independence.
* Implement personalized care plans and provide supportive care to meet individual needs.
* Monitor residents' health and well-being, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager.
* Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
* Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
* Work with housekeepers to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living space.
* Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
Requirements and Benefits:
* SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care preferred.
* At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with transferable skills.
