We are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist, who will be working in a recovery focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment for men aged 18 and over. Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist: You will communicate effectively with a range of clinicians, managers, directors, associate directors, people who access services, carers/supporters/family members, stakeholders, and agencies. You will provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants. You will ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements. You will support the completion of appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways. What we are looking for in an Occupational Therapist: HCPC registered. knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models. Knowledge of how to work with neurodiverse individuals.
