Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and informative history lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5. Design and implement stimulating lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and values. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the history department's overall effectiveness and contribute to the school's broader educational mission. Foster a love of history in students and encourage critical thinking, research skills, and historical analysis. Qualifications and Experience: A relevant degree in History or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching history at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for history. A passion for Jewish history and culture is desirable but not essential.
