We are delighted to be representing a University, based in London, who are looking to appoint a temporary maternity cover, Assistant Financial Accountant, on an 9-12 month contract.
This position is due to start immediately on a part-time basis and daily rate is negotiable based on experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating & resolving discrepancies
* Liaise with Payroll & colleagues to resolve queries for 1,300 employees
* Manage debits, credits & ad hoc recharges and advise on income & gift aid for donations
* Prepare & input general ledger & payroll journals
* Maintain authorised signatory records & university structure
* Set up & manage general ledger codes & Agresso maintenance
* Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual ONS returns
* Support Financial Accountant & assist with ad hoc projects
Experience required:
* The role requires strong experience in balance sheet reconciliations, payroll reconciliations, and general ledger management, including investigating and resolving discrepancies
* Candidates should be comfortable preparing and inputting journals, managing debits, credits, and recharges
