We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emotional and Behavioural Mentor for a full-time position at an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Doncaster.
In this role, you will support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them manage their emotions and behaviours effectively. You will provide one-on-one and small group mentoring sessions to help students develop essential social and emotional skills. Collaboration with teachers and other professionals is key to creating tailored plans for each student, while also monitoring their progress and engaging with parents and caregivers to ensure their ongoing support.
We are looking for candidates with relevant qualifications or experience in fields such as counselling, social work, psychology, or a related discipline. Experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural challenges is essential, alongside a strong understanding of SEMH and effective strategies for managing challenging behaviour. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are important for this role.

The pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay, and this is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent in some cases.
