Job Description
This is a hybrid role where you’ll mostly work from home, with the occasional visits to our local offices.
Our goal at CityFibre is to unlock the digital potential of Britain by creating a broadband network that works seamlessly for everyone, every day. Powerful, gigabit-speed connections that enable people across entire communities to enjoy life in full flow. To do this, we make sure that our people’s voices are heard, their ideas are welcomed, and everyone is given the opportunity to make a real impact.
What you can expect from us
Everyone at CityFibre has an important part to play, and we reflect that in our benefits. With a competitive salary depending on experience + a car allowance, when you join us, you’ll also enjoy 25 days’ holiday, a day off on your birthday, a day off to support a charity or organisation of your choice, a performance-related bonus scheme, and private healthcare.
How you’ll change it up
Joining us as Senior CDM Advisor, you’ll be proactively working with our internal teams and external contractors on all things related to construction health and safety covered by the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. It’s an exciting role that will give you the opportunity to support on compliance activities throughout the entire lifecycle of major projects, from contract reward to completion. 2. Ensuring 3rd line assurance audits are maintained and managed in line with review timelines
3. Completing internal auditing of our management systems
4. Providing advice, guidance and support to key stakeholders and the wider team on CDM matters
5. Continually reviewing process and system improvement opportunities
6. Providing support and guidance to the wider team
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll already have strong CDM or SHE experience, as well as good working knowledge of CDM 2015. We’re also looking for you to bring the following with you:
7. Specialist experience guiding, advising, and supporting on CDM issues
8. Experience delivering CDM based improvements in processes and policies
9. NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
10. Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
We’re looking for people who don’t settle for ‘good enough’ and push things forward. If you’ve just found yourself thinking, ‘I’d love to do this’, we want to hear from you. Let’s change it up.
