Within the Registered Manager role you will be leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to ensure that your residents are cared for and supported to the highest standards possible. You will hold overall responsibility for the care home shared with the Deputy Manager and will play a key role in ensuring that the company’s high standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the service. The company are considering both current Home Managers looking for a change and experienced Nurse-qualified Deputy Managers looking for a step up. As Registered Care Home Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. You will proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and family members alike. They have a fantastic Senior Management team, which includes a dedicated Quality & Compliance Manager and Regional Manager, to help induct the successful candidate and offer extensive ongoing support. Care Home Registered Manager Skills and Experience: Preferably 2 or more years of managerial experience within Care Homes NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care / Registered Managers Award or NMC PIN (Preferred but not essential) Have a strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans An excellent communicator with experience in leading and motivating a varied staff team Care Home Registered Manager Duties will include: Undertaking the day to day management of the home according to the policies of the Employer and the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 & 2012 and subsequent amendments. Overall responsibility of the care home shared with the Deputy Manager Liaising with local authorities and governing bodies such as CQC to ensure the consistency and wellbeing in the home.
