What skills and experience we're looking for
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL:
NVQ 2 for Teaching assistants or equivalent qualification or experience.
Good standard of education – Level 2 (or equivalent) English & Maths
Experience of working with children of relevant age.
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children.
Working knowledge of National/Foundation Stage curriculum.

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our strong team of practitioners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To support the classroom teacher with their responsibility for the development and education of children including those with special physical, emotional and educational needs by utilising detailed knowledge and specialist skills.
To work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the management/preparation of resources.
To deliver intervention programmes to individuals and groups of pupils across the school and to report progress to class teachers and Deputy Head.
