Working within our Automotive Finishes business you will be providing technical direction and assistant to Sherwin-Williams customers, guiding on product lines, colour issues/support and facilitating account management with sales. This role is ideal for an experienced Technical Service Advisor with Refinish experience and knowledge.
This is a field based role and can be based anywhere within the UK and requires frequent overnight stays away whilst travelling within the UK for work. The majority of the visits include Birmingham and around the Midlands and/or Scotland, so a candidate in either region would be an advantage.
Your main responsibility in this role is the development of our key accounts that we have within the U.K. distribution network as well as direct supply customers and the relationships we own between them and ourselves. This is a key customer facing role and will require daily interactions with business partners, attending distribution meetings/training and end user accounts. The introduction of new product lines and SKUs will be a target for this role to push training and knowledge out into the market.
Ideally from an Refinish or coatings background
Knowledge of the refinish industry with the ability to use all refinish products to a high standard
Able to demonstrate products and correct process in a bodyshop environment
Must be able to demonstrate a track record in a customer facing role
Ability to negotiateandprevious sales experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
