Backed by top-tier investors, we are now seeking a Head of Sales to join our leadership team. You will lead the strategy and execution for growing MarketLeap’s sales among D2C consumer brands globally. You’ll be responsible for hiring and managing a global team of sales development representatives, to drive lead generation and conversion. This role focuses on expanding MarketLeap’s reach, optimizing the sales pipeline, and driving efficiency in sales cycles targeted at Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).
About You
* MBA or Master’s degree from a top business school.
* 5+ years of B2B sales experience, especially with SME consumer brands.
* Proven success managing teams that generate millions in revenue through optimized pipelines.
* Strong strategic thinking with hands-on experience in pipeline management and optimization.
* Strong analytical mindset with expertise in handling and using data to drive decisions
* Experience working in e-commerce or offline retail is highly preferred.
* Fluent in English
* Fluent in other languages (e.g., German, Spanish, Italian, French) is highly preferred
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Head of Sales, your mission will be to:
* Develop and execute global sales strategies to drive growth within the SME consumer brands sector.
* Hire, lead and manage a global team of SDRs, ensuring optimal lead generation and pipeline management.
* Create and execute lead generation strategies for new seller acquisition across all e-commerce categories.
* Develop prioritization mechanisms for account recruitment, leveraging data to identify high-potential prospects.
* Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation through to closing deals, while optimizing sales cycles for conversion.
* Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams to address seller challenges and scale solutions.

* Revenue Growth: Consistently achieves or exceeds targeted revenue goals from D2C brands, demonstrating direct impact on MarketLeap's financial success.
* Efficient Sales Pipeline Management: Establishes and maintains a streamlined, data-driven sales pipeline that shortens the sales cycle and maximizes lead-to-customer conversion rates.
* Sales Team Expansion and Effectiveness: Builds a high-performing global team of SDRs who consistently meet or exceed lead generation and conversion targets, showcasing effective team management and leadership.
* Strategic Lead Generation: Designs and executes impactful lead generation strategies tailored to Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), ensuring a steady influx of qualified leads in key e-commerce categories.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works seamlessly with product, marketing, and operations teams to optimize brands acquisition.
