Reporting to the CEO, the purpose of this role is to lead the core finance teams across the Group. The role is responsible for all reporting requirements and ensuring a robust financial control framework and systems are in place. You will manage audit, VAT & Tax matters along with international cross border transactions, stakeholder liaison, and driving world class performance from the team. What exactly will you do? Perform risk management by analysing the organisations liabilities and investments. Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks. Control and evaluate the organisations fundraising plans and capital structure. Responsible for ensuring accountability of Senior Finance leaders ensuring performance of the team is managed. Efficient and proactive cash management including strong invoice collection and optimising cash holdings across the holding company and subsidiaries. Manage vendor relationships. Champion compliance with the law and company’s policies Ensure team performance is achieved. Managing financial control, risk, and group reporting Developing financial strategy (ideally with private equity experience) to drive the company’s financial planning. Reviewing, condensing, and presenting business finance reports to the CEO Monitoring the business’ financial plans Building and maintaining compliance Managing group tax planning and accounting Implement and manage budgets. Management of investment and fundraising Cash flow management What we’re looking for Experience: Excellent knowledge of international tax policies across multiple tax jurisdictions Transfer pricing experience Experience of cross border transactions Experience/knowledge of UK and French GAAP Previous experience in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP) Energy Sales Industry experience is preferred but not essential.
