Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and engaging Quantity Surveyor to join our cost management team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple sectors, including higher education, healthcare, residential, logistics, infrastructure, and defence.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage budgets for projects in various sectors.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements.
* Analyze and mitigate risks associated with projects to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to support business decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. They will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have experience with project management tools such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (BSc or MSc).
* Professional membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is desirable.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction law, contract administration, and risk management.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and paid holidays.
