My client, a well established main contractor across Commercial builds, is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, covering projects in and around the South West of England. Experience in delivering Commercial New Builds, Refurbishments and Restoration, and Design & Build is essential.
Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business
Developing and presenting project proposals
Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
Agreeing to and managing budgets and timescales
Attending site meetings to monitor progress
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams
Ensuring all sites are following Health & Safety best practice and proceduresContracts Manager Requirements:
Proven track record as a Contracts Manager covering Commercial builds
Ability to manage several sites at once
Good understanding of the full construction process from pre-planning to completion
Excellent communication skills and strong leadership skills
Up to date with Health and Safety best practice and regulations as well as quality control processes
