Job summary We are seeking a pro-active, enthusiastic, motivated, knowledgeable and computer literate person for the role of ED Data and System Support Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to join of our dynamic and innovative team. The post holder will assist in the preparation of daily and monthly reports for a range of KPIs including 4hr and 12hr targets, ambulance handover times and other attendance data sets. They will provide targeted application support, ensuring the smooth operation of the EDs, including liaising with Main IT departments for rapid resolution of IT issues. They will provide first line support to ED hardware (such as printers & scanners). The candidate must be competent in Microsoft Office applications and have an excellent, working knowledge of Excel. The candidate will be expected to undertake data analysis and be able to produce reports to present at meetings. The post will be based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital but will be expected to work at Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals as required. They will need excellent communication, inter-personal and time management skills as they will work closely with medical, nursing and management staff in this role.
