Prepworld has an exciting new opportunity for a Training Coordinator!
The main purpose is to ensure training and assessment are conducted for factory workers and new starters, including refreshers, while ensuring all H&S, Operations, and Technical procedures are adhered to. This role is responsible for supporting the training and compliance departments by analyzing training needs, developing training materials, and delivering classroom and on-the-job training.
Main Duties
* Act as a champion and provide training on Safety, Quality, Production, Customer procedures, and policies.
* Facilitate and deliver training sessions to employees, ensuring content is relevant and engaging.
* Ensure the safety, legality, and quality of our products while adhering to CCPs by assessing individuals quarterly and coordinating retraining wherever required.
* Arrange and conduct training based on booking requests.
* Data entry and updating of any relevant training systems.
* Generate regular reports on training progress, outcomes, and effectiveness for management.
* Liaise weekly with Shift Managers/Supervisors on training requirements.
* Conduct competency assessments to identify skill gaps and collaborate with department managers to determine specific training needs.
* Review performance data and feedback to identify skill gaps and areas where additional training is needed to improve employee effectiveness and efficiency.
* Create and manage training programs/material focused on addressing skill gaps, ensuring employees have the knowledge needed to perform effectively.
* Work across shifts, facilities, and teams, taking a hands-on approach to understand manufacturing processes and current training methods.
* Review factory/production areas/lines for inappropriate/unsafe conditions, correcting and retraining employees showing behavior contrary to training.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees and managers regarding training opportunities and development.
* Set an example and enforce company policies and procedures.

* Training-related certification (essential)
Experience
* Experience in/understanding of a Manufacturing Environment (essential)
Skills
* Strong communication skills – confident communicator
* Ability to speak any other languages (aside from English)

Days and Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am - 06:00 pm (full time in office)
Salary: Starting salary of £28,000 - £31,000 per annum DOE, paid monthly
