It was established in 2003 and has developed into one of the leading reputed centres in bariatric surgery in the country. There is a dedicated bariatric theatre with approximately 10-15 major bariatric cases each week.
Applicants are invited to apply for a fellowship in bariatric anaesthesia. This fixed term appointment would suit those wishing to further their expertise in bariatric and/or obstetric anaesthesia. Alongside developing clinical acumen and participating in research, the post holder will gain skills essential to perform as a consultant within the NHS.
