Job Title: Social Worker (Safeguarding and Legal)
Location: Conwy County, North Wales
Salary: £38 Hourly

This is an ongoing position where you will be at the heart of our Children, Families, and Safeguarding Service. Delivering high-quality social work to children and families, you will address unmet needs and protect those at risk of harm, all while fostering resilience and independence.

What you will do:
* Provide support and develop strategies to build resilience and independence in children and families.
* Ensure children and families are central to decision-making processes and achieving desired outcomes without compromising safety.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to respond effectively to cases where children are at risk.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for legal proceedings when necessary.
* Engage with local communities and agencies to support children’s welfare and safeguard their interests.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
* Qualified Social Work professional with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, including proficiency in relevant technology and software.
* Registered with Social Care Wales.
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* The assignment is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. Candidates should ideally be local or within a commutable distance from Conwy County, North Wales.
