Main duties of the job We are a busy District General Hospital (DGH) serving the population of Medway and Swale and Medway was the first Trust in Kentto achieve foundation trust status in April 2008. Our children's emergency department has an annual attendance of over 30,000 babies, children and young people living locally. The successful post holder will be expected to have an interest in caring for newborns and a drive to develop skills in the speciality of neonatology. The expectation will be that you proceed eventually to undertake the specialist training programme to enable you to care for those babies who require intensive care.
