Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Commission
Are you passionate about clean water and cutting-edge technology? TLP Recruitment are recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a highly reputable and well-established company in the Water Hygiene/Waste industry based in Bromsgrove.
What You'll Do:
As a Technical Sales Engineer in the water industry, you'll be the go-to expert for bridging the gap between our innovative products and our clients' needs. Your role will be all about combining technical expertise with strong communication skills to ensure our customers have the right solutions to make a change in their water management efforts.
1. Dive deep into technical knowledge of our water treatment systems and solutions, becoming the trusted advisor for our clients.
2. Connect with customers to identify new business opportunities in the market, whilst understanding their unique water challenges and tailor the perfect solutions for them.
3. Present and demonstrate products with enthusiasm, ensuring customers see the full potential of our technology.
4. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
5. Provide technical support during and after the sales process to keep customer systems running smoothly.
6. Stay ahead of industry trends and analyse market trends to keep them ahead of the game.
7. Negotiate and close sales contracts.
What You Bring:
1. A passion for water solutions and sustainability.
2. A background in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) advantageous but not essential.
3. Sales experience with a knack for turning technical language into customer-friendly language.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills - you can explain complex ideas in simple terms and love working with people.
5. Problem-solving skills and a drive to learn about new technologies.
6. Experience in the water treatment or environmental services industry is advantageous but not essential.
