Halcyon are excited to be partnering with a leading provider of Residential homes for Children, in the search for their new Registered Manager. This medium-sized organisation has a few homes throughout the North West with the intention of opening up another in the near future. A forward-thinking Children's provider, the organisation caters for young people with EBD, PTSD, Attachment and other complex needs. They offer children and young people the mix of independence and high-level support they need to flourish and grow into young, confident adults.
This Registered Manager's role is ideal for someone who is looking to work with a smaller provider who prioritizes the children rather than their bottom line. There is definitely a family feel to the service for both the children and the staff. The organisation offers numerous support packages for their team, including:
1. Accommodation paid for through COVID;
2. Ongoing development and support;
3. Support to achieve NVQ level 3 / 5 qualifications;

You will be required to have the following to be considered:
1. Level 5 in Leadership and Management, or be open to working toward it;
2. At least 2-3 years of children's residential experience at a Deputy Manager level;
3. Ofsted knowledge is essential.
This role could be perfect for a strong deputy looking for a step up into a Registered Manager role, or an experienced Registered Manager looking for complete autonomy. The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate a true passion for caring for children and not just treat the post as a job. You will be working closely with the business owner, so the ability to make change happen within the home is very real and quick, rather than just working through a larger organisation.
The successful applicant for this post will receive:
1. £52,000 - £55,000 depending on experience;
