Business Manager, Selfridges London

Description:
Are you interested in driving a business for one of London's most luxurious counters? Then the La Prairie Counter at Selfridges London might be of interest to you. Managing a team of four Beauty therapists/consultants and one Account Manager, you will develop sell-out in Selfridges W1 while working towards achieving and maximizing La Prairie retail objectives, reversing the trend and ensuring Luxury excellence through effective management. The aim is to gain market share within the Skincare category while being perfectly aligned with brand strategy and the roadmap.
The Key Accountabilities of the role include the following:
Business Planning:
1. Contribute to define the weekly sales targets (market and by store level) as well as LE updates with rationale behind the proposal.
2. Drive retail growth at the counter by developing or reviewing business plans and event activities, sharing twice a year a detailed view on the plans.
3. Identify new opportunities and ideas to drive sales within brand parameters and tools and evaluate effectiveness.
4. Be the leader and owner of the performance in the respective area, feeding management with regular and valuable insights on the performance and corrective actions, and be responsible for the quality of the weekly performance sharing by door to ensure insights and impactful corrective actions.
5. Ensure 100% compliance and accuracy of all sales reporting data including IPPOS and clientelling.
Developing, motivating performance of in-store teams:
1. Effectively manage our BAs to ensure collaboration and fieldwork as per guidelines and brand needs (practice, behavior with colleagues and clients, respect of grooming guidelines, etc.) and when necessary working in partnership with RSM manager.
2. Create and motivate strong in-store teams that work together to at least meet - ideally exceed - KPIs targets.
3. Through regular assessment of KPIs in partnership with the Retail coach, identify ongoing needs and develop our sell-out service, and improve performance.
Implementation of Company marketing and merchandising program:
1. Follow up the execution of in-store marketing activity, being the guardian of the implementation as per brand guidelines and strategy.
2. Ensure that the merchandising guidelines are adhered to and that collateral, samples, and other support are used to maximize retail effectiveness.
Managing store relationships and communication:
1. Undertake and record regular business meetings with retailer department/store managers, presenting business strategy updates including promotional programs and reviewing consultant performance.
2. Find appropriate local opportunities for events, additional sites, and personal shopping spaces.
